“Expand your fundraising campaign to a wider demographic with a raffle.”

RAFFLE
OVERVIEW

Raffles are a great way to open your fundraising campaign to a wider, more diverse audience. Draw in new donors with exciting, one-of-a-kind raffle contest.

In comparison to a traditional auction with only one paying winner, a charity raffle allows you to have hundreds or thousands of paying entrants. Although the individual price point is lower, you have the chance to raise more in total compared to an auction.

TESTIMONIALS FROM
RAFFLE CLIENTS

“We ran a raffle with Givergy to win bespoke hand-painted racing helmets from McLaren F1 drivers. The results have been phenomenal, we managed to sell over 14,000 tickets in just 10 days.”

Mind

“I was extremely impressed with Givergy. We are a small grass roots charity with little IT support. Givergy made our raffle an easy process from start to finish!”

Trustee, Sambhali UK

“Givergy made me, and my team, look good. I put pressure on Givergy because we had an abbreviated planning period but the team handled it with ease. I absolutely recommend Givergy to everyone!”

RAFFLE FAQS

A prize draw is very similar to a raffle and can be run in the same way. The main difference between the two is the licensing needed in order to run them, please see below for more details on the licensing and legalities surrounding the prize draw.

If you can source a high value or unique item that really stands out from your other items then a raffle is a great way to draw attention to this and get the most out of the item.

Givergy can send a notification to all raffle winners as well as to those who did not win. This message can be tailored to each client’s needs.

A legal requirement of a raffle is for users to be able to enter for free. An address for postal entries to be sent to will need to be included on your fundraising site. The raffle description must include details of any terms and conditions specific to the prize. Once the raffle is live then the end date must not change unless you have taken all reasonable steps to inform entrants of this change.
