As it sounds, sealed bidding allows donors to simultaneously submit a sealed bid, so no one knows how much the other donors have bid. At the end of the bidding auction, the prized auction item goes to the donor who submitted the highest bid.

Yes! You can have different bid modes on your auction items throughout the list – we recommend having a mixture of sealed bids, standard incremental bids and buy it now items.

Through a fully transparent and ethical process, we’re able to easily sell the same item to, for example, the top three bidders at the end of the event, meaning that your charity profit is instantly tripled. We are very upfront in our visuals that we may sell to the top X bidders if multiple items are available. We also recommend adding a sentence to the item description to be fully transparent.
