Payment Collection At Events Can Be Simple!
Collecting payment at your next fundraising event doesn’t have to be painful, daunting or tedious. We have three robust payment collection options that will enable you to get the task done efficiently!
Option 1: Pre-authorization
When a donor first registers to bid or pledge via your custom online auction the donor will be asked to enter their credit card details. When the auction closes, the winning bidder’s card will automatically be charged and the money will then be transferred to the charitys bank account using our Stripe Connect service.
Not only does this mean you no longer have to chase for payment, but you will also receive the money into your account faster and have full visibility on the status of payment collection through our Event Management System (EMS).
Option 2: Pre-swipe
When the donor arrives at your event or when they first make a bid on an item you can ask the guest to swipe their credit card. This is easily done using our new bespoke check-in app. Using pre-swipe eliminates the need to chase for payment and you will receive payment promptly!
Option 3: Text or email payment link to donor
At the end of the event we will send a text and/or email to winning bidders and guests who have made a donation with a link to process their payment online. Alternatively detailed reports and per person invoices can be supplied on the night. The Givergy system gives your guests the option to cover the processing fee when they checkout, therefore increasing funds raised from the event!
