Increase Participation Through A Prize Draw
Prize draws/raffles are a great way to increase participation across your event! If you choose the right auction item and market it well, a large sum of your money raised could come from the prize draw.
Using our prize draw functionality will enable you to control and monitor its success along with all your other fundraising initiatives eg donations, silent auction etc. The prize draw will simply be added as an extra tab on your fundraising website.
Donors can easily enter the prize draw by purchasing tickets pre-event and on the night of your event. Our system will ensure payment is taken straight away and all funds collected will be instantly transferred to your dedicated Stripe Account.
Spread the word
Promoting your prize draw through your social media channels and email campaigns is a fantastic way to build awareness, not only amongst your guests, but to donors who are not attending the event. This will drive more traffic to your fundraising website and boost the number of entries to your prize draw as well giving donors the opportunity to browse your auction items in one swoop. This will benefit guests attending the event too, as they will be able to register their details and get bidding or donating!
Through our Event Management System (EMS), you will be able to take control of your prize draw by changing the copy in the title, the description and adding any images. Our system also allows you to set up a range of ticket options, from single tickets to bundles. You have the choice of having more than one winner, this works well when you have multiple versions of the same item.

As you can see in the image above, once the prize draw has come to an end, you can use the built in random name generator to pick a winner. Text and/or email alerts can be sent to the winner to notify them of their prize at the click of a button! If you wish, notifications can also be sent to all other entrants to let them know that they didn’t win.
