Live Auctions

Global Support Agent

“Live auctions spark excitement among the crowd as an auctioneer calls out the highest bids. Live and live-stream auctions can serve as an integral role in reaching your fundraising goals when done correctly.”

LIVE AUCTIONS
OVERVIEW

With the pressure of an auctioneer and crowd, live auctions are a great way to raise money. During both live and live stream auctions, the auctioneer will direct the bidding by introducing each auction item and the starting bid amount.

LIVE AUCTION FAQS

Hire an experienced auctioneer. It’s worth it! They play a huge role in keeping the live auction moving to help you raise more.

Limit the number of auction items between 3 and 5 to keep your audience interested.

An experienced auctioneer will be able to gauge the room to determine where to start the bidding. The last thing you want is to drop below the start bid because it was too high. As a general rule, we say 50% of the price you want it to go for – with big increments.
