Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Its childhood cancer awareness month and were on a mission to help you raise as much as possible for causes that support children and families that have been effected by cancer. Here are 4 ways you can get involved to raise money and awareness!

1) Pushed for time?

Pushed for time but still want to support children effected by cancer? You can donate directly to a cause you see fit via their website. It will only require less than five minutes of your time.

Not only do we love the work Children with Cancer do, but we love their user friendly website!

2) Feeling energetic?

Sign up and join 8,000 others in this award-winning half marathon. CLIC Sargent are delighted to be one of the official charities of this fantastic event. The money you raise will make a huge difference to a family’s finances to help with the sudden extra costs a cancer diagnosis can bring.

3) Need to jump start your day?

Organise a coffee morning and bake off with friends, family and colleagues. Simultaneously get the jump start you need and raise more for people facing cancer. Last year Macmillan raised 25 million and are determined to raise even more this year! Lets get baking!

4) Want a challenge?

Trek your way to stunning scenery in the Peak District. There are four distances to choose from 25km, 50km, 75km and 100km. The money you raise will support Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group and their efforts to improve treatments and patient care. With the goal to cure as many children as possible while reducing the side effects of treatment.

These are just a few ways you can get involved! Have more ideas? We’d love to hear from you.

Givergy have helped raise over 10 million for cancer related charities across the UK through cutting edge technology, please get in contact if you’d like to learn more about what we do and why we do it. #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth
