3) Born off the back of VPAR – live golf scoring
In 2008, Cancer Research UK held their annual golf outing using our sister company, VPAR, global leader of live golf scoring. Impressed with the way VPAR transformed traditional golf scoring into a real time totaliser, they enquired if the same could be done for the auction process. They didn’t have to wonder for too long however, as Givergy was born in 2009 off of their suggestion and we successfully supported Cancer Research’s fundraising event with cutting-edge silent auction technology that same year an incredible way to enter the market!
