How it works!

Sealed bidding allows guests to submit their sealed bids, so nobody knows how much they have bid. Our platform then simply displays the number of bids placed on an item, not the name or amount, so other donors keep bidding higher amounts to ensure they win.

At the end of the auction, the prized auction item goes to the donors who have submitted the highest bid.

Yes! You can have different bid modes on your auction items throughout the list – we recommend having a mixture of sealed bids, standard incremental bids and buy it now items.

Through a fully transparent and ethical process, we’re able to easily sell the same item to, for example, the top three bidders at the end of the event, meaning that your charity profit is instantly tripled. We are very upfront in our visuals that we may sell to the top ‘x’ bidders if multiple items are available. We also recommend adding a sentence to the item description to be fully transparent.
