Givergy Gives Back Through A National Competition!

Givergy employees are renowned for taking part in fundraising initiatives, from trekking up a mountain in Stok Kangri (India) in aid of British Heart Foundation, to project managing a volunteer organisation in South Africa. Its part of their ethos to encourage and support their employees to get involved, which is why each employee is gifted 2 days a year to carry out any volunteer work or activity in aid of charity.

Their latest philanthropic endeavor, as a company, took the form of an exciting competition. Givergy gave charities across the UK the opportunity to win award-winning fundraising technology for their next event, through a competition that was launched in July 2018. The competition entailed charities to submit a few details regarding their upcoming event and cause in order to be entered.

The technology has been specifically designed to help charities not only increase the amount they raise, but increase guest satisfaction and enjoyment. As a result, charities across the globe have raised over 45million in the last 12 months through Givergy.

Julian Sykes, CEO at Givergy, said: Were thrilled to announce that Kidney Research UK is the winner of our 2018 Fundraising Technology competition! Were so excited to see another extremely worthwhile cause benefit from utilising fundraising technology.

Kidney Research UK is the leading charity dedicated to research into kidney disease in the UK. Their aim is to find better treatments, and ultimately cures for kidney diseases.

Naomi Butters, Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships at Kidney Research UK, said: Were delighted to receive such a fantastic prize from Givergy. Having this technology available at our next major fundraising event will give our supporters an extra special experience, and hopefully generate more income to enable us to fund more life-saving research.

Kidney Research UK are entitled to the following benefits at their next fundraising event:

What’s included in the prize:

  • Pre-event custom online auction
  • Silent auction technology
  • Direct donation feature
  • Access to our auction item collection
