Ronald Mcdonald House Charities Western Australia aims to support seriously ill children by providing a range of programs to help families stay together and close to the care they need.<\/p>\n

What<\/h2>\n

The RMHC WA Ball brought together 1,052 guests that included sponsors, licensees and corporate partners to raise crucial funds for the charity\u2019s work. It had been a long time since supporters were able to come together in person, so there was understandable anticipation for the occasion!<\/p>\n

\n

How<\/h2>\n

RMHC WA built momentum for the Saturday of their event by opening their silent auction six days prior through the Givergy platform. Donors had bought tables at staggered prices then on the night enjoyed dinner, entertainment and keynote speeches. Descriptions of auction items from the night\u2019s live auction hung like artwork in the ballroom lobby and on top of each table sat QR codes that led donors directly to the pledge option within our fundraising platform.<\/p>\n

Result<\/h2>\n

Historically the silent auction at this event raised around $100,000 but in 2021 over $110,000 was achieved! On the first two days alone the silent auction raised over $20,000 and by going online pre-event it added an extra layer of engagement between RMHC and their donors.<\/p>\n

Top Tip: <\/strong>\u201cHaving the QR code linking directly to our Givergy fundraising site certainly helped as it meant that guests could do everything from their seat. Our audience of over 50\u2019s found the technology simple to use and that definitely made the whole giving experience more
