Who<\/h2>\n

Kingsway College School, an existing Givergy client, is a JK to Grade 12 co-ed independent school based in Toronto. With a tagline to \u2018expand possible,\u2019 this school is focused on unlocking the full potential of its students through innovative learning and unique experiences.<\/p>\n

The school\u2019s approach ensures that boundaries disappear and horizons widen. While each student\u2019s experience is unique, one thing remains constant. Their time at KCS will help them to think bigger, dream larger, and expand their individual \u2018possible\u2019 into something more than when they arrived.<\/p>\n

Across all KCS grades, well-being is integral to daily interactions with students and their education. KCS is proactive and intentional in helping students develop social-emotional skills, understanding, and empathy for others. This and the various extra-curricular activities are the reason for continuous fundraising efforts.<\/p>\n

\n

What<\/h2>\n

This year, the school wanted to raise funds to renovate the Junior School Art Room (to be completed during the summer of 2023) and to complete the next phase of construction at our Senior School (to be completed during the 2024-2025 school year).<\/p>\n

\n

Event Highlights<\/h2>\n

KCS were thrilled to have 250 guests attend the Gala at their Senior School to help raise funds for these two fundraising priorities.<\/p>\n

Alongside the exciting event with amazing food, an open bar and fabulous d\u00e9cor, Givergy supported both\u00a0a\u00a0Silent Auction<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Pledge campaign<\/a> via the mobile bidding form. This worked well to secure donations alongside the other evening\u2019s proceedings. The event also had a brilliant fundraising host in the form of Canadian Hip Hop Artist Maestro Fresh Wes, who also helped take the Gala to an even higher level when he performed for guests.<\/p>\n

How did you find the Givergy system?<\/h2>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve used the Givergy auction tool for our last three Galas and continue to find great value in the tool, as well as wonderful support from the Givergy team. Result<\/h2>\n

KCS were happy to have raised $109,860 CAD through the mix of pledge and silent auction features.<\/p>\n
