We Love Doing Our Bit!
Developing the latest fundraising technology and coupling this with the very best service is something that runs vigorously throughout all the members of the Givergy team. As a result, the last 12 months have seen Givergy support over 1,000 events and raise over 25 million for countless incredible causes.
Working with so many fantastic causes each year encourages us to take part in many different charity events, including the Cardboard Citizens Nightrider and the Princes Trust Palace-to-Palace to name a few. This week three members of our team are taking it to another level though and are excited (I think that’s the right word!) to take part in the infamous Prudential RideLondon for a very worthy cause; Action for A-T.
RideLondon sets the challenge for many cyclists to ride 100miles through London and Surrey in order to raise money for a variety of different causes. The money raised by the Givergy team will be donated to Action for A-T, this incredible charity funds high quality, peer reviewed medical research to speed up the process of identifying a cure for Ataxia Telangiectasia (A-T). This is a rare, genetic and degenerative childhood disease that affects multiple systems of the body. Those affected with A-T lack the ATM gene, a gene that contains the instructions to make the A-T protein which controls the rate in which cells grow, divide and repair themselves.
We know how this charity has benefited the lives of so many children living with A-T and therefore the Givergy team cannot wait to get stuck in at RideLondon and raise as much as possible!
