Who<\/h2>\n

The Trish Multiple Sclerosis Research Foundation has raised over $6.2 million since its beginnings to help fund vital research into the debilitating disease. The non-profits’ goal is to help find a cure or preventative strategy that will ultimately see the world free of multiple sclerosis altogether. Fundraising is an integral part of what the charity does, and as such, they have chosen to work with Givergy for several years now.<\/p>\n

What<\/h2>\n

Hosted as part of their annual fundraising efforts, The Trish MS Glitz & Glamour Ball 2022 was a spectacular evening hosted in September. This year\u2019s event was held at a beautiful ballroom at the Hilton, Sydney, which made for a lovely and vibrant setting.<\/p>\n

The Ball is a very high-profile event with some of the world’s leading MS scientists in attendance each year. As well as providing on-site staffing support, Givergy supported in the form of both live and online auctions. Using both types of auctions is the preferred choice by the Trish MS Research Foundation as it allowed remote bidding until the event auction closed in the ballroom at 11.10pm. This organisation has a special place in the hearts of many, so its important to ensure that donors can support from wherever they are based.<\/p>\n

Result<\/h2>\n

The total amount raised was $37,124, which Trish MS was thrilled about. The charity always aims to exceed their previous year’s contributions, but is happy with whatever amount they bring in..<\/p>\n
